Doris Marie Caton Riden, ended her battle with cancer on Monday, December 31, 2007. She was a member of Middle Creek Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, John Sherman Riden; mother and father, Caddie Lou Marie and Philip Harrison Caton; mother and father-in-law, Minnie Headrick and Sherman Sevier Riden; sister, Dorothy Caton; brothers, Conley Ottis and Roy Andrew Caton; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Brown; niece, Judy Caton Fox. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Joe Davis; The love of her life her grandsons, Joseph Wade and Johnathan Ray Davis; two nieces, Barbara Jean Clark and Mary Lou Slover; sister-in-law, Gloria Hembree; God sent amazing friend, Earl Newman; special friends, Pat & Ellis Rolen, Lorene & Fred Trentham, Sue Allen; many special Democrat friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 4, 2008 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Highland South Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation at 7:30 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted in Highland South Memorial Park on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet in the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Albert Ebenezer.
