INGLE, GLADYS CARMICHAEL - age 100, passed away peacefully Monday May 29, 2006 at Brakebill Nursing Center. For many years she was a natural gardener who could make anything grow, an avid duplicate bridge master and director of several area bridge clubs including Deane Hill, Gatlinburg, and Green Meadow in Maryville. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ralph W. Ingle; brothers, A.C. Carmichael and Jay Carmichael; sisters, Allie Sloan, Hazel Hinton, and Rula Carmichael. Survived by: her daughter, Susan Tisdale and her husband, Wright; grandson, Russell Greer and wife Janet; granddaughters, Catherine White and husband Brad of Florence Alabama, Lawson Duncan and husband Joe of Overland Park, Kansas and Paige Wardell and husband Joe of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Bailey and Bradley White, Catherine and Matthew Duncan, Greer and Preston Wardell and Kristy Olivarri and Jennifer Roberts; great great grandchildren, Allie Roberts and Sawyer Olivarri; brother, Ray Carmichael of Morristown; several nieces and nephews. The family deeply appreciates the loving care at Williamsburg Villas and former caregivers, Connie Schultz and Nadine Bolin. A private graveside will be held Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Friends of the Smokies, 130 West Bruce Street, Sevierville, Tennessee 37862.
