EARL RAYMOND BUTTERWORTH, Jr., age 53, of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday evening, October 16, 2010 at his home surrounded by family, following a year long battle with leukemia. He was the owner of Butterworth Electrical, assistant chapter director of Chapter G-2 of Sevierville, TN, member of the GWRRA motorcycle group, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Earl Jr. was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Grace Butterworth; grandparents, Ollie and Mae Lyle; Walter and Cora Butterworth; father and mother-in-law, Cecil and Hattie Sane; sister-in-laws, Margaret Sane and Carolyn Sane; brother-in-law, Athan Sane.
Earl Jr. is survived by his wife of 29 years, Flora Butterworth; daughter and son-in-law, Cecile and James Solomon; two precious grandsons, Gabriel James and Jacob Daniel Solomon; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Debbie Butterworth; special nephew, Dustin Shawn Butterworth and fiancé Wendy Flora and daughter Trinity; sisters-in-law, Lucille Sane, Sylvia and Emmit Turner, Mary Belle Daniels; brothers-in-law, L.V. and Ida Sane, Lloyd Sane, Ed and Becky Sane, Mack Sane, Alton and Dale Sane, Lonnie Sane and Bill and Mary Sane; uncles and aunts, Tommy and Frankie Lyle, Con and Margie Butterworth and Don and Betty Butterworth; special niece, Almeda Sane; special friends, Frank and Kathy Adderhold, Shurrel and Judy Lowe and Travis Adderhold, George and Marie Morgan.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, with the Rev. Sean Watson, Rev Chris Howell and Rev. Gene Green officiating. Graveside Interment will follow in Deep Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00pm on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
