OAKS, NANCY BRYAN - age 93 went home to be with Jesus Monday, October 9, 2006. She was a life long Christian. She was a very loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Ulysses Oaks, daughter Linda Oaks and son Hershel Oaks. Survivors include: son, Glen Bryan Wilson; daughter, Sue Coker and husband Steve. Grandchildren include: Nancy Collingsworth, David Smith and Lisa Morris; great-grandchildren include: Josh Breeden, Aaron Smith, Ariel Smith, Lacie Smith and Jacob Morris. Special thanks to the Sevier County Nursing Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Highland Memorial (Bearden) 5315 Kingston Pike. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Bryan-Drinnen Cemetery, Kodak, TN with the Rev. Tim McCroskey officiating. Mrs. Oak's guestbook may be signed at www.highlandmemorialparks.com.
