Charles H. Bradshaw, 80, formerly of Townsend, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, entered his heavenly home on July 30, 2012. He was born on August 22, 1931, in Tremont, Tenn., which is now part of the Great Smoky Mountains. Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Myers Bradshaw; his daughter, Debbie Cosson; son, Chuck Bradshaw; sister, Dawn (John) Byrd of Maryville; and brother, Dale (Barbara) Bradshaw of Gatlinburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chase and Colby Bradshaw and Michael Cosson; and great-granddaughter, Taylor Bradshaw. They will miss their “Pappy.” After 25 years of employment with F.W. Woolworth Co., Charles and Helen retired in Pensacola, Fla., to be near their children and grandchildren. Charles was an active member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church where he served as secretary and greeter in Adult VII. He loved his church and church family. Visitation will be held at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, Pensacola, Fla., at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., Pastor Ron Lentine officiating. Burial will be at Barrancus National Cemetery in Pensacola. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, 5920 Lillian Highway, Pensacola, FL 32506.
