Kenneth Lee Bell of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Pigeon Forge, TN, went into God’s arms on October 20, 2005 at Saint Elizabeth’s hospital of Lincoln. Born and raised in Torrance, California by parents Perry and Phyllis (Wiseman) Bell, Ken spent part of his adult life in the California and Washington state area, attending UCLA, and working in manufacturing management.
Ken was a former business owner in Sevier County and past member and board member of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.
Ken attended Eastridge Presbyterian church of Lincoln and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Sevierville, Tenn. Ken was a member of the Realtors Association of Lincoln, National Realtors Association, and a former Rotarian and Shriner in Tennessee. Ken had a love for the outdoors, supporting the Audubon Society, and was a charter member of The Friends of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Survivors: wife, Shirley Anne Fox; son and daughter-in-law Steve and Sue Bell of Chino, CA; daughter, Debbie Garrett of Salem, OR; grandchildren Sean and Erin Bell, Jessica and Michelle Garrett, and step-grandchildren; Danny and Melissa Montoya; mother-in-law, Ruby E. Fox, Pigeon Forge, TN; sister-in-law, Janet Bell, Washington, Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Pam Fox, Pigeon Forge, TN; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother Ronnie; and half-brother, Don; and father-in-law, J.T. Fox.
Funeral service will be Thursday, October 27, 7PM at First Presbyterian Church of Sevierville, Pastor Don Grady officiating. Visitation of friends will be 5-7PM, prior to services. Inurnment will be Saturday, October 29, 11AM at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens in Pigeon Forge, TN.
