Richards, of Fort Myers and formerly of Knoxville, TN, passed away Saturday, July 24th, 2010. Born in Stuart, FL to the late Walter E. Richards and Patsie Abbott Richards, John moved to Fort Myers from Knoxville, TN in December of 2009. His passions included muscle cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, hiking, biking and outdoor adventures of any kind. With love, a great sense of humor and a good practical joke, John was 46 years old but a child at heart. In addition to his mother, John leaves behind his significant other, Pam Altman; son, Johnathan Richards; daughter, Ashley Richards; as well as many beloved friends. The family will receive friends from 2–4pm Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 in the Anderson–Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services home, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916 (239) 694 – 4121.
