ABBOTT, JACK A. - age 41, of Knoxville passed away peacefully Sunday, July 12, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was of the Christian faith. Jack was the owner of Competitive Business Systems. He was preceded in death by father, Earl Edmund Abbott. Jack is survived by his mother, Helen Abbott; son, Preston Abbott; daughter, Emily B. Abbott; former wife and mother of his children, Tammy Abbott; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Claudia Abbott; special nephews and niece, Andrew, Eric, and Katlynn Abbott; several other nieces, nephews, special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday at 11:45 AM at Greenwood Cemetery for a 12:00 PM graveside service with Rev. Wayne Lay and Rev. Bob Bean officiating.
