MARYSVILLE, Pa. - Mrs. Trudale Shelton Knight , 82, of Marysville, formerly of Cleveland, Tenn., and Union, S.C., went to be with her Creator on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Revs. Gerald Bennett and Ted Tinker officiating.
She was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Lockhart, S.C., the daughter of the late Robert and Zelian (Fish) Shelton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Stanley Roy Knight , one brother and two sisters. She was a graduate of Lee College. She retired from the Church of God Publishing House in Cleveland, Tenn., where she loved her work as a copy editor. "Grandma" will be truly missed by all.
Mrs. Knight is survived by her stepson, Jeffrey M. Knight of Los Angeles, Calif.; her stepdaughter, Sherree D. Knight of Marysville, Pa.; her sisters, Ruby Baker of Simpsonville, S.C., and Lottie McKeown of Greenville, S.C.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
