She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Spurgeon; her son, Andra Spurgeon, and 3 grandchildren, Stacy, Andre, and Chris. She is survived by her children, Leroy, Virginia, Ellis, Glenda, Gary, Nyoka, Larry, Cloure and Lucy; grandchildren, Teresa, James, Bud, Kevin, Shawn, Tabitha, Jason, Jonathan and Joshua; and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 30th from 3-5pm with a funeral service beginning at 5pm in the chapel at Highland South Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 9:30am at Highland South Memorial Park.
