LUTHER WILLIAM “BILL” BERRY, age 74, of Dandridge, TN went home to be with the Lord on Saturday evening, September 22, 2012 following an extended illness. He was born April 14, 1938, the son of the late Luther Wesley Berry and Bertha Stallans Berry. He was a retired auto mechanic and former owner of Phillips 66 on Chapman Hwy in Seymour, TN, and was a member of the Dupont Baptist Church of Seymour. Preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Ann Jefferson; brother, Jimmy Walter Berry; sisters, Jessie Ogle, Sammie Lou Graves and Sarah Hicks. Survived by wife, Tammy Arden Berry; children, Randy Berry, Dustin Thompson, Tammy Popejoy, and Tina Hayes; brothers, Clifford, Doug, Cecil and Beecher Berry; numerous grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Duncan officiating. Interment graveside service Thursday, 11:00am at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
