LOVEDAY, TROY ALVIN - age 69, of Knoxville, born February 21, 1934, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2003, after a short illness. He was a deacon at Sunny View Baptist Church for several years. Veteran of U.S. Navy. Retired from Rohm and Haas Chemical Company with 32 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, James and Grace Loveday brothers, Ernest and Eugene Loveday sisters, Eula Hill and Bobbie Neff. Survivors: wife, Annette Brennan Loveday daughter and son-in-law, Jayne and Gregory H. Harrison sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sherri Loveday, James A. (Al) and Toni Loveday daughter, Robin Kanipe, all of Knoxville grandchildren, Troy and Colby Loveday, Eddie and Christopher Daugherty, Chance and Chesney Harrison brothers, Roy Loveday and J.R. Loveday sisters, Wanda Irwin and Kay Miller special nieces, Carolyn Frye and Beckie Nason. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Chapel with Pastor Jody Darden and Rev. Mike Darden officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to Bookwalter United Methodist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Memorials may be made to Redemption Harvest Church Building Fund, 3315 Emory Rd., Knoxville, TN 37938.
