RUSSELL, GLENN C. - age 69, of Strawberry Plains, Tenn., died Tuesday evening, September 11, 2001, at his son's home in Kodak. He was the son of the late Perry and Veta Tipton Russell. Glenn was retired from TVA, a member of the McCampbell's Chapel United Methodist Church, and was an accomplished violinist having played with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. Survivors: wife, Virginia Yardley Russell; sons and daughters-in-law, Martin and Lisa Russell of Kodak, and Brian and Terri Russell of Strawberry Plains; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Robert Russell of West Virginia; nine grandchildren; brothers, Paul Russell and Perry "Buddy" L. Russell, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Frioday, 10 a.m. at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Rocky Glenn and Rev. Chuck Nicholson officiating. Interment to follow at the Rutledge Pike Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge. [S1] U. S.
