He was a Veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by: his father, Alex Presnell mother, Lula Presnell brothers, Carl and James Presnell and sisters, Elizabeth Houser & Bertha Wright. Survivors include: his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Oleta Presnell daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Roger Monday of Knoxville son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan Presnell of Ft. Worth, Texas. grandchildren, Jennifer and Brad Barrett, Stephanie and Alan Horner, Aaron and Brittany Monday, & Zachary Presnell great grandchildren, Jonathan Horner, Kimberly and Logan Barrett brother, Earl Presnell sister, Naomi Presnell several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2004 8 pm First Church of God on Westland Drive with Rev. Lee Wallace officiating. Family and friends will meet at Weaver Funeral Home on Friday at 10:00 am and go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for a 11:00 am interment service. Full military honors provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm at First Church of God on Thursday.
