Wolfe, Kenneth S. – age 76 was born and raised in Kodak and passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011. He was a member of French Broad Valley Baptist Church and recently attended New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Jack and Mabel Wolfe; sister, Mary Tennyson; and brother Virgil Wolfe. Survived by wife Barbara Gideon Wolfe; step-sons, Rob and Christy Gideon; step-daughters, Cindy and Mark Mellon, and Bobbie and Trace Rachford; step-grandchildren, Chris and Doug Rachford, and Robby and Megan Gideon; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Steven Miller and staff, Dr. Lewis and staff, Dr. Dennis Duck and staff, UT Hospice especially nurse Becky and CNA Trish for their very special care, and Janet Massengill and the entire UT hospice staff. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2011, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Wayne Grubb and Rev. Mark Large officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 PM on Tuesday at East TN Veteran Cemetery-John Sevier for a 1:30 PM interment. Military honors will be provided by East TN Veteran Honor Guard and the US Navy Honor Guard.
