July 17, 1922 - August 19, 2007 Pauline Witenbarger Mize of Seymour, 85 years old, passed away peacefully Sunday morning at 4:05 a.m. Preceded in death by husband of 57 years George F. Mize. Survived by daughters, Shirley Thornhill, Phyllis and husband Vaughn Manis, Jr. Brenda and husband Joe Carter, Jr.; Grandchildren, Angie Thornhill and husband Chuck Cook, Russell and wife Cindy Manis, Gina and husband Steve Walker, Stacie and husband Philip Dixon, Carrie and husband Mark Gibson, Christy and husband Will Dodson; Eight great grandchildren, Julie and Bradly Lowery, Marissa and Dylan Dixon, Marcus and Matthew Manis, Chase and Noah Gibson, Cody, Lucas and Caleb Dodson. She will be sadly missed after a lifetime of being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A special thanks to her granddaughter Stacie Dixon for her nursing skills, love and compassion given to her and the family. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Highland South Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Highland South Memorial Chapel with Elder Gerald Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland South Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Rusty Manis, Philip Dixon, Steve Walker, Mark Gibson, Bradly Lowery and Chuck Cook.
