WILSON, SHERMAN P. - age 74, of Rockford, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2002. He retired from the Blount County School System, and was a Deacon at Bethlehem Star Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Johnny and Callie Harris Wilson brother, James Wilson sisters, Johnnie, Rubye, Elsie, and Genevieve Wilson. Survivors: sisters, Anna Lou Widener of Knoxville, Callie, Irene Wilson of Rockford sister-in-law, Gladys Wilson and Children of Sevierville a devoted nephew, Anthony Wilson Aretha, Anthony Jr., and Linda Wilson, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2002, from 1-2 p.m. at Harris Chapel Baptist Church with Funeral to follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Sam E. Davis and Rev. Jerry Harris officiating. Interment in Harris Chapel Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Unity Mortuary.
