Tweed age 55 of Newport passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the University of Tennessee Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ethel Williams and mother in law, Ruth Tweed. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Tweed of Newport, father in law, A.J. Tweed, aunts, Bonnie Penix of Newport, Susan Gregg of Dandridge, Jean Williams of Sevierville, sister in laws Janice Gregg of Chucky, Tn., Wanda Miton of Greeneville, Tn brother in law, Rex Tweed of Grandville, Tn, special friend, Ronnie Turner of Newport, she loved animals and will be sadly missed by her cats, Snuggles, Dusty, Callie and Squiggles. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Williams Cemetery Sevier County. Family will receive friends 7:00 till 9:00 pm Friday, June 15, 2007 at the funeral home. Manes Funeral Home in Charge.
