Louis “Tommy” Britt, age 65, of Newport, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Louise Britt; and brother, Dale Britt. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Britt; granddaughter, Chelsey Reese; step-daughter, Christy (Chad) Reese all of Newport; sisters, Gale (Jack) Kirsopp of Pennsylvania and Linda Littleton of Louisiana; also several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Monday, June 19, 2017 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 2:00 pm with Rev. Glen Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at: www.manesfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Manes Funeral Home.
