Myrtle Arrowood

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Arrowood Sr.; parents, Tilman and Fannie (Pack) Ball; granddaughter, Amanda Jean Arrowood; brother, Harl Ball; sisters, Lorrie Williams, Ardith Tucker, and Ollie Mae Ball.
She is survived by her children: daughter, Zella Mae Whitten; daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Tommy Britt and Sheila and Danny Whipple; sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest (Junior) and Angeline Arrowood, Doyle and Diane Arrowood, Vernon and Cheryle Arrowood, Eugene and Brenda Arrowood, Randall and Marcia Arrowood, Jimmy and Trudy Arrowood, all of Newport; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Horace Ball, of Del Rio, and Joye Ball, of Newport; brother and sister-in-law, Forest and Inez Ball, of Newport; sisters, Christine McGaha and Georgie Mantooth, of Pigeon Forge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Opal and Major Coggins, of Dandridge, and Betty and Paul Hux; brother-in-law, Robert Tucker, all of Newport; sisters-in-law, Beulah Arrowood, of Newport; Rita Arrowood, of Tampa, Fla.
She will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and beloved caregiver Rosalee Jennings.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home with the Rev. Ransom Hall and Rev. Tom Hubachek officiating.
Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
