Williams, age 87, of Cosby, passed away, Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U S Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Williams; brothers, Floyd, Ruthard, and Clayton Williams; sisters, Murlia Krise, and Mildred Hurst. He is survived by his daughters, June Woods of Cosby, Linda Reagan and husband Buck of Gatlinburg, Carlene Baxter of Newport; two grandchildren, Steve Jenkins of Gatlinburg, Christy Antrican and husband Charlie of Newport; five great grandchildren three sisters-in-law, Agnes Williams of Sevierville, Gladys Norris of Cosby and Betty Knall and husband Robert of Ohio; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 8:00 pm Monday, April 3, 2006 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Steve Shults officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in Jenkins Chapel Cemetery.
