OBITUARY:
REBECCA "BECKY" WILKERSON, age 92, of Dandridge, TN, a life long resident of Jefferson County (Shady Grove community) passed away on Monday, December 11, 2006. She was one of fourteen children of Bob and Hattie Harrison Moore and was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. She was a resident of Chandler House of Jefferson City, where she enjoyed quilting and other activities. Preceded in death by husband, R. C. Wilkerson, and grandson, Steven Craig Wilkerson. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Mary Wilkerson of Newport Richey, FL, and Joe D. (J.D.) and Lois Ruth Wilkerson of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Mark D. Wilkerson, David M. Wilkerson, Dr. Anne Wilkerson, Charles G. Wilkerson, Rebecca McQueen; great grandchildren, Ruthie Wilkerson, Anne Miles Wilkerson, Charlotte Wilkerson, Amanda McQueen, Rachel McQueen, Jaclyn Wilkerson and Noah Wilkerson; brothers and sisters, Robert Moore, Frank Moore, Ruth Odom, Ercie Fox and Lydia Moore; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Mark Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Shady Grove Cemetery Fund, c/o Raymond Lindsey, Jr., 542 Haynes Road, Dandridge, TN 37725.
