Ms. Keen was born in Sevier County, TN and was a direct descendant of the original settlers of the area. She worked as a nurse at Mary Mount and Hawthorne Hospitals in Ohio. She retired from nursing and became the Christian Education Director at Northfield Baptist Church in Northfield , Ohio. For the last 16 years she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and used her spiritual gifts to serve the Lord and her church family Ms Keen was united in marriage to James (J.E.) Wells on August 27, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husbands James Wells and Robert Keen, parents, Joseph and Bessie Widener and brother, William Widener..
