SMITH, DELORES "DEE" - 73, of Clinton, Missouri passed away January 28, 2005 at the Golden Valley Hospital, Clinton, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M Monday, January 31, 2005 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Masonic Section. Friends may call 4-6 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Family suggests contributions to Emerson Park Christian Church. The Rev. Dr. Ted Satterfield will officiate. Dee was born in Sevierville, Tenn. She lived recently in Clinton, Mo, prior to Clinton she lived in Seymour, Tenn. and most of her life in the Kansas City area. She was a bookkeeper. Dee was a member of Emerson Park Christian Church in Kansas City, Ks and Seymour United Methodist Church in Seymour, Tenn. She was a member of the Chilhowee Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 450, United Methodist Womens Group, and the Business and Professional Women Assoc. where she was Woman of the Year in Kansas. Dee was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Webb and her in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. Ray Smith. Survivors include her husband of 55 years as of March 14, 2005 Alvin Smith, of the home 2 daughters: Diane Smith and Julie Smith, both of Lenexa, KS brother & sister-in-law: William & Jane Webb , Crossville, TN nephew and his wife Mr. & Mrs. Chuck Webb and nephew: Craig Webb brothers: Clarence Webb and Marvin Webb sisters-in-law: Fannie Cardwell and Lavern Swann, both of Kodak, TN brother-in-law: Charles Smith, Nashville, TN aunt: Delmar Hodges, Maryville, TN , and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
