Bradford, Jama Ruth –age 74, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 24, 2008 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was a member of Fort Hill Baptist Church. Jama was a homemaker, a Vols fan and loved to bowl. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Preceded in death by husband, Leonard Bradford, Sr.; parents, Andrew and Lona Webb; brothers, J.C. Webb, Wayne Webb ,Ralph Webb, and Andrew Webb Jr.
Survivors
She is survived by son, Leonard Jr. and wife Paula Bradford; daughters, Ruth Esty and Lisa and husband Monty Knight, all of Knoxville; sister, Faye Raby of Philadelphia, Tennessee; brother, Murl (Bud) and wife, Carol Webb of Knoxville; and sister-in-law, Betty Webb of Knoxville; grandchildren, Diane Bradford, Kelly Bradford, Amanda and Brian Passmore, Maggie Roberts and Josh Thomas, Sara Knight, and Jarrod Knight; special niece, Carolyn Hamilton and her children, Stephanie and Keith Roberts, Edwin Daniel, Doug and Heather Daniel; and lots of nieces and nephews and family.
Service
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2008 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Pastor Doug Daniel officiating. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Sunday, January 27, 2008 for 2:00 PM interment services. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
