ROSS, WILLIE MAE - age 87, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2002. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Senior Choir and The Young at Heart Club. She was a Teacher of The Euzelian Sunday school class. She was also politically active in local, state and national Republican organizations and active in The Community Center Quilting Club. Preceded in death by husband, R. J. Ross parents, James B. And Lou Wardell brothers, Carl and J.B. Wardell and a sister, Ruth Brown. She is survived by sisters, Rella Welch and Aileen Stevens brothers, Otha (Chuck) and Clyde Wardell daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Joe Love daughter, Jeanette Leffew five grandchildren, David and Mark Love, Lisa DelVeneri, Kimberly Leffew and Beth Fisher 7 great-grandchildren, Melissa Humphrey, Matthew Love, Emily Fisher, Brandon Black, Tristan DelVeneri, Hunter and Mika Black. The family wishes to recognize the caregivers, Shirley Pogue and Christi Bailes. The funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2002 in the Kyker Chapel with Dr. Roy Graves officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:50 a.m. Saturday at Kingston Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. Those who wish may donate to The Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 10088, Knoxville, TB 37939-9910, in lieu of flowers.
