SELLERS, THOMAS "TOMIE" GLEN - age 91 of Townsend, passed away Friday afternoon, January 21, 2000 at the family home. He was of the Baptist faith, retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 year club. Preceded in death by father, Gaither B. Sellers; mother, Nancy Jane Boring; wife, Tempia Alice Davis Sellers; daughter, Geneva Waters; sisters, Floye Garland & Dora Frye; brothers, Charlie & Ollie James Sellers. Survivors: sons & daughters in law, Carmon Glenn & Mary Sellers and Jerry Lynn &Laverne Sellers all of Townsend; daughters and sons in law, Jackie O. Sellers of Townsend, Jean & Eddie Flynn of Sevierville, Madelle & Jimmy Vance of Sevierville; grandchildren, Brenda Franklin, Jan Catlett, Jonathan Flynn & Tina Vance; special grandchildren, Sharma Floyd, Kayla Dawn Leonard, Ronald G. Sellers, Alice Wilson, Jeremy Sellers & Melanie Beard; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Ada Vaughn of Cookeville & Ethel Mynatt of Maryville; brother, Harvey Ray Sellers of Wears Valley; severalnieces & nephews. Funeral service 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2000 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Homer Burns officiating. Family & friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday morning at Bethel Cemetery for the interment service. Family will receive friends 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
