Anthony Randy James, age 39, of Knoxville, died Thursday, April 8, 1999. He was co-owner and operator of James Food Market, a family owned business for 30 years. Survivors are: his wife, Cathy James; son, Stefen Rutherford; mother, Mary Jo James; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Rose James; sister and brother-in-law, Nadine and Rodney Varner; his special friend, Penny Cox; and nieces and nephews, Tammie James, Virgil James, Mathew Haynes, and Cara Zimmerman. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Rose Mortuary Man Heritage Chapel with Rev. James Pellom officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Corbin, Tommy Clark, Rhenda McAlom, Gary Dills, Duston Linden, and Doug Parker. Family received friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. Rose Mortuary is in charge.
