He had practiced as an attorney in Sevier County since 1988. At his time of death, he served as the men's minister at Life Changers International Church. George was director of the Darkness to Light Ministry, a long time jail ministry and also a teacher in the LCI Outreach Ministry. He was preceded in death by his father, George Gilleland; mother, Dorothy Gilleland; brother, Johnny Gilleland. His survivors include his wife, Judy Seaton Gilleland; sons, Grant Gilleland (Pam), Brad Beck (Jennifer); daughter, Candice Owens; step-sons, Heath Orr, Caleb Orr (Theresa); grandchildren, Logan Gilleland (Emma), Hunter Beck, Jason and Justin Owens; step-grandchild, Mia Orr; special friends include his church family and LCI outreach students. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Life Changers International Church or Life Changers Outreach at 202 Sugar Hollow RD, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
