Bill was a veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. He retired in 1982 from American Enka. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Louise) Bryant; daughter, Sandra Miller; grandsons, Brian Miller, David Miller and wife Pennye; great-grandchildren, Matt and Katy Miller, all of Newport; sisters, Ida B. Brown, of Newport, and Elizabeth Ottinger, of Camden, Ark.; brother, J.W. Bryant, of Morristown. Friends may call at their convenience at the home of Sandra Miller. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum with the Rev. Mike Sledge officiating. Manes in charge.
