VALENTINE, Colin L.- age 83 of Maryville, passed away Friday, August 3, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville, a B-17 pilot during World War II stationed in England, an Alcoa employee for 37 years and a graduate of UT with a degree in electrical engineering.
Survivors include: wife, Adrienne Valentine; son and daughter-in-law, Colin and Ruth Ann Valentine of Bedford, Mass; grandchildren, Emma Valentine and Noelle Valentine; brother and sister-in-law, Hugh and Edith Valentine of Huntsville, Al; several nieces, nephews and cousins; Aunt, Melvie Kirby; uncle, Howard Valentine.
Family and friends will meet 11:00 am Tuesday, August 7th, 2007 at Lynnhurst Cemetery, Knoxville, for a graveside service with Rev. Marshall Duncan and Rev. Rick Greene officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 pm Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Mission of Hope, P.O. Box 22312, Knoxville, TN 37933-0312
