Sunday, October 20, 2002, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, TN. Mrs. Bailey would have been 91 Years old on October 30, 2002. She was the oldest Member of Wooddale Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Standard Knitting Mill. Preceded in death by husband, Roy C. Bailey and son, Dwight Bailey. Survivors: son and daughter in law, Rev. and Mrs. Ron Bailey of Knoxville daughter and son in law, Beverly and Dan Smith of Strawberry Plains grandchildren, Kelley Miller and husband Tim of Seymour, Rhonda Young and husband Tim of Farragut, Daniel Smith, Melissa Smith and Laura Smith all of Strawberry Plains great grandchildren, Stephanie Miller of Seymour and Nicholas Young of Farragut brothers, Eph Underwood of Strawberry Plains and Bill Underwood of Las Vegas, Nevada. Mrs. Bailey was loved by many. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Stevens Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Robert Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Pall Bearers: Tim Miller, Tim Young, Daniel Smith, Don Jarnigan, Bill Lee and Harold (Moose) Moore. Family will Receive friends 6 - 8 P.M. Tuesday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at Broadway.
