He was retired from Robert Shaw Fulton. Preceded in death by: parents, Pearl and Blanche Johnson Underwood daughter, Janice Underwood sisters, Neil Kirby, Leona Catlet, Edna Bailey, Sue Mount brothers, Von C. Underwood and Bud Underwood. Survivors include: wife, Betty Underwood sons, Eric Underwood of Pittsburgh, Brand and wife Amanda Underwood of Nashville daughter, Ann and husband Mack McCarter of Sevierville step-daughter, Claudette and husband Bud Rayle of Florida grandchildren, Wesley Stair, Amanda, Matthew and Amelia McCarter brother, Bill Underwood several nieces and nephews.
