Barbara Ellen Whaley age 55, of Sevierville, TN. passed away on June 23, 2009 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center in Sevierville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther M. Underwood and wife, Joyce M. Green Underwood; brother, Marion A. Underwood. Survivors include her husband, Charles Elmore Whaley of Sevierville; daughter, Joyce L. Whaley of Texas; Elizabeth A. Whaley Newman and husband, Paul of Sevierville; brother, Raymond A. Underwood and wife, Kristi of Sevierville; sister, Francis M. Sturgill of Dandridge and husband, Lloyd of Dandridge; grandchildren, Joshua P. Newman, Katie E. Newman, Hanna S. Newman, Austin D. Terrell and Lucas D.Terrell. The family will meet for a graveside service, 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at Red Bank Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Parton officiating. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville.
