DIXON, MAYME REAGAN - age 85, of Pigeon Forge, died Sunday, July 11, 1999, at Sevier Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Dixon; parents, West and Louise Watson Reagan; brothers, Minyard, Elmer and John Reagan; sisters, Charity Clabo, Litha Townsend, Lillie Valentine, and Laura Price. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge.
Survivors: children, Hershel Dixon and wife, Jerri, Eunive Shults and husband, Carl, Doyle Dixon and Lynda Meeks, Shearlean Green and husband, Austin; grandchildren, Scott, Derek, Dwain and David Dixon, Keith and Brent Shults, Kent Green, Kim McMahan, Wena Moore, Tina Cole; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie King, Grace McMahan, Hazel Wilson and husband, Paul; several nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Rev. Wayne Cook and Rev. Melvin Carr officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Wednesday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens with Rev. W.W. Cope officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of First Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge.
The family will receive friends 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
