Sarah Irene Flynn obituary [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 27 Jan 2000. FLYNN, LLOYD C. - age 84 of Dandridge, Tenn. passed on to be with our heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 25, 2000. He was the son of the late James Arthur and Priscilla Catlett Flynn and was preceded in death by sisters, Nannie Strange and Frances Leatherwood and brother, Joe Flynn. Lloyd was born in Sevier Co., Tenn. and served in World War II, retired from Magnavox and was a life long farmer. Sadly missed by wife, Irene Tipton Flynn; daughters and sons in law, Charlene and James Hodges, Patsy and Carl (Eddie ) Hubbs; grandchildren, Shannon and John Wollard, Jason and Jay Hodges, Leila and R.J. Calwson; great grandchildren, Zack and Samantha Wollard and Alex Hodges; brothers, Luther and Roger Flynn and special brother, Johnny Flynn; several nieces and nephews. Thanks to the nursing and ICU staff at Jefferson Memorial Hospital and a special thank you to Dr. Spencer Gregg for his care and friendship. Funeral services, Thursday, 7:30 p.m. at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Ralph Bennefield and Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating. Interment graveside services with Military Honors, Friday 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday evening 6-7:30 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge.
