David Blaine “Papaw” Tipton, age 64 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017.
A dedicated servant of the Lord leaving this world praising and worshiping, he loved his family and friends with a true love. He was a member of Living Word Ministries and he adored his church family.
He is preceded by his parents, Ulyses and Ruth Tipton; sisters, Shirley Gourley and Gail Tipton; brother, Kenneth Tipton.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harrell Tipton; daughters, Lory Tipton, Tammy Harris and Rylee, and Tina Sucato and husband Jeff; sons, Bobby Tipton and wife Christy, Briane Tipton and wife Nikki, and Tim Harrell and wife Joyce; 14 grandchildren with one more on the way; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Coyne and husband Tim; brothers, Robert Tipton and wife Bell; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Wednesday with memorial service following at 6 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Tina Sucato officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.
