U.S. Veteran Maurice Edward O誰eil, age 63, of Newport, passed away, Friday, February 1, 2008, after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Dell O誰eil; and brother, Alfred O誰eil. He is survived by his wife, Judy O誰eil of Newport; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Tony Gibson; sisters, Dorothy Suggs of Parrottsville, Jean Ellison of Michigan; stepdaughter, Lisa Maxwell; granddaughters, Julia and Cassidy Gibson; step granddaughter, Megan and Stephanie Maxwell; sister-in-law, Mistle O誰eil; special friend, Sanford Williams; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Monday, February 4, 2008 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Suggs officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Monday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
