Charlotte Ann Rogers, age 61, of McDonough, GA died Wednesday, August 15, 2007. She was born in Sevier County, TN, to the late Reece and Myrtle Fox Roberts. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She taught school for 3 years at Wesley Lakes Elementary School where she was teacher of the year in 2006, prior to that she taught 10 years at Lee St. Elementary in Jonesboro. She loved her game boy, going to Daytona Beach, and being with her grandkids.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Dan Rogers; daughters, Jamie Newman, Maryville, TN; Becky Ford, Rockford, TN; step-daughters, Lori Jackson and Kim Schwendinger, both of McDonough, GA; sisters, Janice Frank and Joyce Fagg, both of Maryville, TN; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Rick Statham and Rev. Dan McKay officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville, TN on Sunday at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
