Irene was a loving daughter, who took special care of her mother and always helped others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Florence Boring; sister, Evelyn Snavely; and brothers, Walter Lee, Charles Thomas, George C., Jim, Clyde, and Bill Boring. She is survived by her loving husband, Howard Fox; stepson, Clark (Stacy) Fox; grandsons, Robert and Franklin Fox all of Sevierville; sisters, Pearl (Bob) Hampton of Greenback, Polly (Roy) Wilson, Ann (Jack) Wilson, and Dean Cooper all of Maryville; brother, Herman Boring of Maryville; sisters-in-law, Ina Kirby and Freda Fox both of Sevierville and Mary Martha Boring of Maryville; several nieces and nephews; and several precious great-nieces and nephew. Family and friends will gather 1:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2014, at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Ricky Boring officiating.
