Ruth was born on March 5, 1939 in Perrysburg, OH. She was employed with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office in Sevierville, TN and Wood County Hospital, in Bowling Green, Ohio. Ruth was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Harry Vaughan, Jr.; mother, Esther Twining Davisson; and father, Wilbur Marlton Davisson. Survivors: Brother: George William “Bill” Davisson; Nieces: Dawn Parsons, Kimberly Alcock and husband Harold; Nephew: Douglas Allen Davisson and wife, Tracy; Great-nieces and great-nephews, Dustin, Christopher, Krista, Jared, Greg, and Nicole; Great-great-niece and nephews, Landen, Jack, and Eva; and special family member, Sue Forrest. Memorial donations may be made to Haskins Community Church, 204 W Main St, Haskins, OH 43525.
