Evelyn Patricia VanDusen, age 74 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018.
She was a member of Eastern Star and First Red Bank Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting, quilting, being a loving Meme, cooking, camping and listening to Bluegrass gospel music.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her sister Rita Mitchell, niece Ellie Mae Stamm, parents Alfred and Cecil Watson and infant brother Ted Watson.
Evelyn never met a stranger and loved everyone she met unconditionally. She lived her life by the gospel and loved sharing her story of salvation. She loved her church family and her favorite song was “Victory in Jesus”. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband George VanDusen; sons and daughters-in-law Robert E. and Ruth Bump, Fred David Bump, Jim P. and Dawn VanDusen; daughters and sons-in-law Sharon P. and Gary Wells, Bobby J. and Jimmy Myers; grandchildren Charles Harbin and wife Victory Harbin, Tyler Myers, Samantha and David Bump, Amanda R. Thomas, Brittany N. Blanchard, Timothy VanDusen, Curtis L. Wells; great-grandchildren Sophie Breeden and Bentley Conner Myers, Lyric Annette Marie Bruce, Chase L. Wells, Caden Wells; brothers Jack F. Watson, Olin R. Watson, Michael J. Watson, Alfred T. Watson, Jr.; sisters and brother-in-law Anne and Brian Davis, Edna Huskey, Nancy H. McCoig, Ethel M. Rosenbalm; special friends Ronda and Jeff Stage and children Justine and Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers, Evelyn’s family is asking for donations to be made to First Red Bank Baptist Church Youth Program.
The family will receive friends 2:30-4 PM Sunday with funeral service to follow at 4 PM at First Red Bank Baptist Church, 2120 Summerfield Lane, Sevierville. Rev. Bobby Owens and Rev.
