Debbie J. Smith, 63, of Gatlinburg passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Gatlinburg. Debbie and Don owned and operated Atrium Pancakes for 26 years together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Jessie Taffer.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Don Smith; sons, Jay Smith and wife, Joanna, Matt Smith, and Devin Smith and wife, Shelby; grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Jaxon Smith, Griffin Smith, and Parker Lynn Smith; sister, Linda English; brother, Jessie Taffer and wife, Rhonda; mother-in-law, Crettie Smith; brothers-in-law, Ron Smith and wife, Jennifer, Tom Smith, Bob Smith and wife, Yvonne, Ed Smith and wife, Jeannie; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Brackins and husband, John, Joanne Morris and husband, Joe, and Sandy King; numerous nieces and nephews, extended loving family members, and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Gatlinburg Youth Building Fund, 111 Oglewood Ln, Gatlinburg, TN 37738.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 PM Monday, April 9th with the celebration of life service to follow at 7 PM at First Baptist Church, Gatlinburg. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
