July 16, 1955 - January 25, 2016 Resided in Kodak, TN Kim Adams, 60, of Kodak passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. He was born July 16, 1955 in Sevierville. Kim loved hunting, fishing and horses. He worked at Knoxville Mac for 26 years and Highway Transportation for 16 years. Kim was a member of the Kodak Masons and the Scottish Rite. His grandchildren were the love and light of his life. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Dolly Adams; son-in-law, Ben Bohanan; and aunts, Lou Adams and Georgia Cole; and his parents-in-law, Jack and Pete Sutton. Kim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley Adams; son, Christopher Adams; daughters, April Tipton, and Kirsten Heath and husband, Ben Heath; grandchildren, Logan Tipton, Lacie Bohanan, Kaleb, Sterling "Erwin", and Brianna "Pinkie" Heath; parents, Coy and Eula Adams; brothers, Tim and wife, Shelia Adams, Mac and wife, Linda Adams, and Pat Adams; many extended family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BB&T, c/o Kirsten Heath, to benefit the family. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM Friday with the funeral service to follow at 6 PM in Atchley's Seymour Chapel. Rev. James Suttle and Rev. Lloyd Powell will be officiating.
