Dillard Sutton, age 83, of Knoxville, Tennessee, since 2004, formerly of Cosby, Tennessee, passed Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Nancy Sutton; brother, Homer Lee Wayne Sutton; sisters, Stella Mae Ball and Betty Sutton; grandson, Issac Sutton; He is survived by his sons, Benny Sutton and wife Carla who was his caregiver, Patrick Sutton, Anthony Sutton and wife Amy, and Scotty Sutton; grandchildren, Lori Sutton, Jesse Sutton, Alex Cate, and Tristen and Logan Sutton; great-grandchild, Issiah Shane Sutton; grand puppy, Theo; brothers, Richard Sutton and Dan Sutton; sisters, Pauline Lunsford and Marie Emert; niece, Helen Vangel Greene; special friends, members of SCAN Knoxville, Tennessee who visited him at home every week and continues to be a support for the family during this time, Knox County Sheriff Office Scan, and Joe and Jolene McDade of Meridian, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be at 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2016 in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Luther Johnson, Rev. Ted Watts, and Rev. Dick Miller officiating. Burial will be at 12:00 noon on Sunday, February 7, 2016 in the Catons Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
