Blanche Sutton Reneau, age 86 of Dandridge, Tn passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at St. Mary's Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born May 30, 1918 and was a life long resident of Dandridge and Jefferson County. Blanche was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was formerly employed by the Bush Bros. Canning Co., and Tennessee Handbags.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Reneay; sisters, Aileen Bailey, Thelma Denton and Gladys Moore; brother, Bud Sutton.
Survived by daughter and son in law, Faye and Richard Romines; son and daughter in law, Eddie and Alice Jane Reneau; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Naomi McSpadden and Leona "Tonu" Denton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. John thompson and Rev. Wendell Shepherd officiating. Interment graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Mt. Zion UMC (Childrens Playground Fund), P.O. Box 1144, Dandridge, TN 37725. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
