She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, an avid reader, and was known for her love of gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Catlett, son Daniel “Zeke” Catlett, brother Robert Kincaid, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jerry and Paul Kirby. Survivors who will deeply miss her include her: Daughter: Karen M. Catlett; Son and daughter-in-law: Charles Jeffrey and Karen W. Catlett; Brother: Farris Kincaid; Sister: Shirley Wagnon; Sister-in-law: Betty Kincaid McClain; Nephews and nieces: Sam Kincaid, Susan Kincaid, Leslie Mays, Becky Johnston, Ron Kirby and their families; A large, loving family in Sevier County and Knoxville area; and Special companion: Her dog Oscar. “Friends are the family we choose for ourselves.” She will be missed by Hanna Hickey and all her neighbors at the lake - Jack and Doreen Shipley, Dick and Joann Felsing, Mary and Chris Courtright and many others.
