Hubert James Starkey, age 84 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013. Hubert was retired from Cherokee Textile Mills and actively did lawn care throughout Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. He enjoyed going out with his wife Mildred, talking with friends and strangers and caring for God's green earth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Lillie Perryman Starkey, brothers, Ben and Frank Starkey; sister, Elsie Perry.

Son: Rick Starkey and wife Betty of Gatlinburg
Daughter: Patricia Ann Bentley and husband James of Sevierville

The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday with funeral service to follow at 4 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Suttles officiating.
