EDGEMON, REBA MARIE OGLE (NANNY) - age 89, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. She was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her brothers, John M., Earl, and Willie Spurling, Jr.; sister, Dorothy Sands; parents, William H. and Martha Spurling. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Esther Ruth and Ray F. Lewis of Knoxville; grandchildren, Kevin Ray Lewis (Lorie) and Kent Eugene Lewis; brother, Johnnie R. Spurling of Greenback; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Alice Bivens, who the family would like to thank for her love and devotion. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Reverend Kent Williams officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Eastview Memorial Gardens (Asheville Highway) for a 10:00 a.m. interment service.
