Clora Eloise Bryant, age 87, of Newport, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2001 at her home.
She was a member of Big Pigeon Primitive Baptist Church, Newport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Holland Bryant; parents, Roe Allen and Leona Gray; son, Jerry L. Bryant; and grandchildren, Donald Eric Bryant and Ben Holland James.
She is survived by her children, Letha L. Bryant, of Newport; Eldridge Bryant and his wife, Ellie, of Morristown; Leon Bryant and his wife, Nancy, of Newport; daughter-in-law, Imogene Webb, and her husband, Darius Webb, of Newport.
Grandchildren, Amy Bryant Moore, of Dandridge; Susan E. Bryant, of Newport; Jerry L. Bryant, of Mosheim; Ann Webb Fine, of Newport; Kendall Bryant, of Morristown; Kerri Bryant Womack, of Murfreesboro; Bryan Bryant, of Morristown; great-grandchildren, Dustin Fine, Austin Bryant, Kirstin Womack, Preston Bryant, Aaron Moore, Madison Bryant, and Blake Childress.
The funeral will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2001, at Manes Funeral Home with Dr. Rich Lloyd and Dr. Charlie Bogan officiating with burial 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2001, in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday prior to the funeral at Manes Funeral Home.
